Amateurs, Classrooms, Organizations and Professional Artists are welcome to enter the newest art competition in Chico. Sponsored by Recology the competition will be judged by attendees to the Chico Home and Garden Show at the Silver Dollar Fairgrounds in Chico on October 2nd and 3rd, 2010. There is no fee for entry and cash prizes of $300 (1st), $150 (2nd), and $50 (3rd) will be awarded along with various trophies and ribbons. The goal of the contest is to encourage recycling and art within Butte County. Each entrant will also receive two free tickets to the Home Show so that they can view their project on display.
